What to Include Within Your DMCA Infringement Notice

In order for us to fully consider and properly respond to your notice, please include all of the following information in your notice to us.

  • A detailed description of the allegedly infringing content, including enough information to allow us to locate it on our website. (For instance, provide the specific page or URL where the infringing content can be found.)
  • The following statement, signed by either the copyright owner or an individual authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner of the exclusive right allegedly being infringed: “I have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law. I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that I am the copyright owner or am authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.”

UNDER FEDERAL LAW, IF YOU KNOWINGLY MISREPRESENT THAT ONLINE MATERIAL IS INFRINGING, YOU MAY BE SUBJECT TO CRIMINAL PROSECUTION FOR PERJURY. YOU MAY ALSO BE SUBJECT TO CIVIL PENALTIES. THESE PENALTIES MAY INCLUDE MONETARY DAMAGES, COURT COSTS, AND ATTORNEYS’ FEES.
